IRIPACK – Food contact papers

IRIPACK PURE – PFAS-free greaseproof papers
A cutting-edge range resistant to grease, without the use of per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS). Available in three levels of grease resistance—low, medium, and high—these papers are ideal for takeout items such as burgers and fries.
IRISTRAW – Papers for straws
Designed specifically for manufacturing paper straws, this range offers excellent moisture resistance and full compliance with current food safety standards.

Thanks to innovations such as our Iripack Pure range of grease‑resistant, PFAS‑free papers, we offer sustainable and reliable solutions for a wide variety of uses: bags, food trays, baking molds, boxes, and corrugated packaging.
All our food‑contact papers are made from virgin fibres guaranteed free from MOSH and MOAH and comply with BfR 36.2 and FDA regulations for food contact. Our production sites are certified ISO 22000 (food safety management) and ISO 9001 (quality management), ensuring strict traceability and quality controls at every stage of the process.
Yes. As a committed manufacturer, we support our clients in defining and delivering customized projects. Our food‑paper ranges are available in four shades (white, natural, peach, and pink), with basis weights ranging from 40 gsm to 350 gsm. PFAS‑free papers are offered with three levels of grease resistance: low, medium, and high.
Yes. Papeteries de Vizille food‑packaging papers are engineered to be fully compatible with a wide range of industrial converting processes, including:
- Cutting, folding, creasing
- Heat sealing, bonding, extrusion
- Flexographic, offset and gravure printing

Yes. Some options within our Iripack and Iripack Pure ranges are suitable for baking applications. They are ideal for cake molds, muffin cups, or oven‑ready trays.
The use of a paper suitable for food contact is strongly recommended for the manufacture of paper straws, particularly for foodservice and retail applications. Our Iristraw range has been developed to provide excellent resistance to moisture. It is PFAS‑free and certified FSC™ (C020652) or PEFC (10‑31‑1425). Available in several basis weights, it is specifically designed to suit industrial processes such as spiral winding, gluing, and cutting.
